It combines the EV-2 sensor/computer with the p70Rs control head to provide a modern, integrated autopilot base.

Drive-by-Wire Architecture

Unlike a traditional hydraulic or mechanical autopilot, this kit is not intended to directly command a pump or cylinder via an ACU. It relies on the EV-2 and the boat’s compatible steering interface to exchange autopilot commands. This architecture suits electronic installations or manufacturer setups that expose a compatible steering interface.

p70Rs Control Head and Raymarine Integration

The p70Rs control head provides dedicated autopilot control with a rotary knob, suited for powerboats. The system integrates with the Raymarine ecosystem via SeaTalkng / NMEA 2000 depending on the installation, enabling sharing of navigation, heading, and route data with other compatible instruments.

Installation Consideration

Reference T70164 must be selected only after verifying the type of steering system and the available manufacturer interface. For conventional hydraulic steering or mechanical cylinders, choose an Evolution autopilot pack with a compatible ACU and power unit.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0988/3274/4788/files/main-square_fa4e6510-a8b1-47b4-a3a6-b53aa325252c.jpg?v=1779384080
