The gimbal mounting holes require a 5\/32\" (4 mm) drill bit, and a 1 1\/4\" (31.75 mm) hole is needed for cable routing, located 50 to 100 mm behind the mounting point. High-quality marine-grade silicone sealant is recommended for sealing the mounting holes.\n\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch3\u003ePower Supply and Connectivity\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\n    The display requires a 12 VDC power supply. A 2-meter power cable is included. For cable extensions, use 12 AWG stranded copper wire for lengths from 1 to 12 feet, and 10 AWG for lengths from 12 to 24 feet. The connection can be made via a fuse panel or directly to the battery, installing an inline fuse holder if necessary. To minimize interference, it is recommended to separate the display’s power supply from that of a trolling motor. The XPLORE 10-MEGA SI+ also features an optional NMEA 2000® port and supports Ethernet accessory and cable connections, with separate installation guides available.\n\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch3\u003eSystem Configuration and Testing\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\n    After physical installation and cable connections are complete, the system must be configured.
