Featuring certified NMEA 2000® connectivity, it integrates directly into onboard networks or connects via powered MMC-PN2K network cables (sold separately) to a single MediaMaster® unit. Its water-resistant design (IPX7 certified) makes it suitable for marine and outdoor environments.

Integration and control

    The MMR-5N2K simplifies volume adjustment of the host source unit. A rotary knob allows increasing or decreasing the source unit’s volume, simultaneously adjusting all audio zones when the host unit’s level control mode is set to "relative" or "variable." A single press of the knob mutes or unmutes the audio. The device also features a programmable status LED ring providing visual feedback on state and operating mode.

Design and installation

    Designed for front-panel mounting in flat panels, the remote requires a 38 mm (1.5 in) diameter hole for installation. Mounting locations must provide a flat surface of at least 60 mm (2.35 in) square, with sufficient rear clearance for the controller body and connections. Its marine construction is tested to withstand UV exposure and salt environments. The IPX7 rating ensures resistance to immersion up to 1 meter depth for 30 minutes, provided installation is correct.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0988/3274/4788/files/01_477ec5d8-1b3d-488b-801f-b7afba032bb6.jpg?v=1781127986
