The award-winning 50-foot bluewater Oyster
The Oyster 495 is the smallest model in the Oyster Yachts range. It is also the first model designed since the yard was acquired by Richard Hadida in 2018. First example afloat in 2022, it was named European Yacht of the Year 2023 in the Luxury Cruiser category.
Architecture
Hull designed by Humphreys Yacht Design (Rob and Tom Humphreys) in collaboration with Oyster’s in-house studio. Evolved platform of the G6 hull form by Humphreys: vertical bow, beam carried far aft, twin rudders. Designed for offshore cruising with a small crew (couple or family).
Construction
Built in Wroxham (Norfolk, UK), Oyster’s historic site relaunched in 2018 after the yard’s restart under Hadida.
