Designed for navigation and safety at sea, the ACR RCL85 LED spotlight is a rugged lighting solution for recreational vessels and light commercial craft. It features 6 high-power OSRAM LEDs, delivering 30W and a beam intensity of 240,000 candelas peak. This spotlight provides visibility up to 980 meters, over half a nautical mile, with an 8° spot beam angle.
Performance and Operational Flexibility
The ACR RCL85 offers continuous 350° rotation and 90° elevation (45° up and 45° down from the home position). Rotation speeds are 18° per second in fast mode and 12° per second in slow mode, while elevation operates at 13° per second. These specs enable precise beam direction control. Power input is compatible with 12/24 VDC shipboard systems, drawing 2 amps at 12V and 1.1 amps at 24V. The LEDs have a rated lifespan of 50,000 operating hours.
Marine-Grade Design and Built-in Features
The ACR RCL85 housing is made from acrylonitrile styrene acrylate (ASA), a UV- and weather-resistant material ensuring durability in marine environments. The entire housing is rated IP56, while the LED module is IP68-rated for enhanced water resistance. The spotlight includes a wireless remote for remote control of rotation and tilt functions. A strobe function is also integrated for emergency situations. Its compact dimensions (14 x 16 x 19.5 cm) and 1.34 kg weight simplify installation. Available in white (PN 1956) or black (PN 1957).
