The FURUNO I6W satellite TV antenna is designed for receiving television channels in a marine environment. With a 60 cm (24 inch) parabolic dish and 2-axis stabilization, it ensures stable reception even while underway. The system integrates WorldView LNB technology, enabling global operation without manual adjustments or LNB replacement when transitioning between different satellite service regions. It provides 4 decoder outputs for multi-point distribution aboard.

Advanced Technologies and Performance

The FURUNO I6W integrates WRS (Wide Range Search) and DBT (Dynamic Beam Tilting) technologies. WRS is a fast search algorithm that accelerates signal acquisition, while DBT ensures superior signal quality by adjusting the beam in real time to reduce background noise. The antenna is HDTV-compatible thanks to an integrated HD module for receiving HD TV in Ku band. Its WorldView LNB offers ±10 kHz frequency stability. The system is also DVB-S2-compatible for advanced programming.

Connectivity and Simplified Installation

This model features 9–30 VDC power supply and an extended elevation range of -15° to 90°, suitable for high latitudes. The antenna rotation speed is 45° or 60° per second, ensuring rapid tracking in rough seas. An integrated GPS contributes to fast signal acquisition. Built-in Wi-Fi connectivity allows wireless connection to the antenna control unit (ACU) for monitoring and configuration via the Intellian Aptus mobile app. Installation is simplified by a single-cable design between the antenna and the ACU.
