This information is then used to calculate the state of charge (SoC) and generate alerts. The BMS, such as the Lynx Smart BMS NG 500A\/1000A (required and sold separately), ensures automatic configuration, monitoring, and control of battery parameters. It automatically detects system voltage and the number of connected batteries. Monitoring of critical parameters, including cell state and voltages, battery current and temperature, is accessible via the VictronConnect app (Bluetooth), a GX communication center, or the VRM portal. Its self-discharge rate has been optimized to be less than or equal to 2% per month at 25°C, contributing to its reliability and longevity. It supports a maximum continuous discharge current of 200A (1C) and a pulsed discharge current of 400A (2C) for 10 seconds. The battery is protected against dust and low-pressure water jets thanks to its IP65 protection rating, making it suitable for marine environments.
