The Sunreef Power 70 by Laurent Bourgnon
Jambo is a Sunreef Power 70 expedition motor catamaran, launched in 2008 and presented at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September 2008. The boat was designed by Sunreef Yachts (Gdańsk, Poland) in cooperation with Laurent Bourgnon, multihull sailor and double winner of the Route du Rhum, who owns and commissioned the vessel.

Program and voyages
After the Cannes show, Bourgnon embarks his family aboard and sets off on a round-the-world cruise focused on long-range cruising rather than performance. Departure from Puerto Montt in Patagonia in March 2009, Pacific crossing, then arrival in French Polynesia. The family settles in Raiatea; Jambo becomes an expedition and diving platform, operated as a charter from Tahiti to the Leeward Islands and the Tuamotu archipelago.
Laurent Bourgnon disappeared in June 2015 during a dive in the lagoon of Toau atoll. The boat has since remained based in French Polynesia.
