Kouyoumdjian 2020 design, project halted after successive dismastings
Corum L'Épargne is a 60-foot IMOCA with foils, design by Juan Kouyoumdjian, launched on May 5, 2020 in Port-la-Forêt. Hull and structure built by CDK Technologies using the Arkéa Paprec mold (another Kouyoumdjian design). Project management by Mer Agitée (Michel Desjoyeaux). Project manager: Greg Evrard.

Project termination
After two dismastings and a keel failure in three years, Corum announces the end of the program on September 26, 2023, four days after the second dismasting. Fifteen Lorient-based team members were laid off. The team ruled out causes related to sailing style, sail plan, and rigging loads, focusing the investigation on the mast tube and standing rigging.
