The infused multi-keel cruiser by Pierre Rolland

The Django 7.70 is a 7.70 m sailboat designed by Pierre Rolland for the Marée Haute shipyard (Serge Calvez), launched in April 2010. Fractional sloop, infused fiberglass/polyester hull, Category A design with unsinkability. Voted Sailboat of the Year 2011 one year after its launch.

Specifications

  • Hull length: 7.70 m (8.00 m overall with added skirt in later design iterations)
  • Beam: 2.95 m
  • 3 keel versions: full keel, twin keel (1.20 m draft), lifting keel
  • Infused fiberglass/polyester construction
  • Category A + unsinkability

Program

Coastal and offshore cruising. The twin-keel version (the most common model) allows beaching. The hull with evolving chine and the low displacement via infusion enable offshore passages while remaining manageable with a reduced crew. Over 110 units produced by late 2024.
