Detailed description
Detailed description
Designed to optimize charging for eLite electric outboard motors, the ePropulsion MPPT 100 W solar charge controller (reference EL-C003-00) is compatible with eLite and Spirit foldable solar panels. It ensures efficient energy conversion, helping to extend range at sea.
Advanced MPPT technology and conversion efficiency
This controller integrates MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) technology, guaranteeing a maximum power point tracking efficiency of 99.9 % or higher. It delivers up to 90 % charge conversion efficiency, optimizing energy input from solar panels even under variable light conditions. The MPPT tracking range spans from 12 V to 18 V, with an open-circuit voltage below 23 V.
Technical specifications and versatile connectivity
The ePropulsion EL-C003-00 controller provides a maximum output power of 100 W and a maximum output voltage of 30 V. It handles a maximum input current of 4 A and a maximum constant charge current (CC) of 4 A, with a maximum output of 29.4 V - 4.0 A during CC charging. The nominal battery system voltage is 25.2 V, with a maximum output voltage of 30 V and a maximum output of 29.4 V - 4.0 A during CC charging, compatible with the 25.2 V nominal battery system voltage. Equipped with dual charging capabilities, the unit accepts input via MC4 solar connectors or a 12 V DC source via a standard cigarette lighter socket using the included adapter. Its compact dimensions of 100.00 mm (length) x 82.00 mm (width) x 23.50 mm (height) and net weight of 0.40 kg facilitate installation.
