JL Audio M200 marine infinite baffle subwoofer
The reference 010-04759-01 includes a JL Audio M200 subwoofer with a nominal size of 10 inches, featuring a gray Sport grille and RGB LED lighting. This is a flush-mount speaker, not a pre-assembled sealed enclosure.
Audio and rear volume
The speaker accepts 250 W RMS at 4 ohms, with a sensitivity of 86 dB at 1 W/1 m. The recommended amplifier power is 250 W. The cone is made of injection-molded polypropylene.
The infinite baffle design uses a large volume of air behind the speaker: the datasheet specifies 56.6 liters and recommends keeping this space empty. A dedicated sealed enclosure is possible according to the recommended dimensions, with 56.66 liters of net internal volume; the volume displaced by the speaker and reinforcements must be added to calculate the gross internal volume. The use of a ported enclosure is not recommended.
Marine flush-mount installation
Allow for a cutout of 222.5 mm and a mounting depth of 131 mm. The outer diameter is 275.4 mm; the rear body measures 222 mm in diameter, and the front face extends 47.1 mm beyond the mounting surface. Maintain a 295 cm compass distance.
The IPX6 rating applies to protection from the front when the speaker is properly installed. The rear, wires, and connections are not waterproof: protect them from moisture. In areas exposed to water or weather, mount on a vertical surface. Outside the boat, install well above the waterline.
LED lighting
The RGB LEDs operate on 10 to 14.4 V DC, with a maximum current of 220 mA at 14.4 V DC. Garmin recommends a Spectra controller, sold separately. A static color can also be achieved by a protected connection to a 12 V DC source.
Always install a 500 mA fast-blow fuse on the LED positive wire at the power source end, in a marine fuse holder. This remains mandatory even with a controller. For direct wiring, also use an isolation switch or circuit breaker. Use the provided wiring harness and disconnect the audio power before making connections.
