Its low profile, with only 5 mm (3\/16\") of extension below the hull, minimizes drag and does not affect the boat’s navigation performance. It is compatible with all hull materials, including fiberglass and wood. Installation requires a 60 mm (2-3\/8\") hole for fiberglass or wooden hulls, and 70 mm (2-3\/4\") for metal hulls. The transducer weighs approximately 1.4 kg (3 lb) and comes with a 10-meter (33-foot) cable.
