The Bird+ mode is specifically designed for sport fishing, concentrating the full 130W power to detect fish schools up to 8 nautical miles. The ZoneTrack™ function tracks up to 50 targets in two defined zones, providing course and speed data. Doppler VelocityTrack™ technology aids collision avoidance using color coding to indicate relative motion of targets. Hazard alerts (radar and AIS) are also provided, displaying range, bearing, and relative course. Low-power pulsed transmissions ensure safe operation in harbors and marinas. Beam sharpening improves separation of small or distant targets.
