Designed for managing high-demand electrical circuits in marine and mobile environments, the BEP 400A 48V bipolar battery switch provides simultaneous isolation of the positive and negative terminals. This feature is essential for metal-hulled vessels to prevent galvanic corrosion and ensure enhanced safety during maintenance operations or in emergencies. With a continuous rating of 400A, an intermittent peak of 600A for 5 minutes, and a starting capacity of 1500A for 10 seconds, this switch is suited for high-power systems.
Advanced integration and safety
The BEP 770-DP bipolar battery switch integrates the EZ-Mount system for simplified installation, allowing front-side wiring and optimizing access to connections. Its design ensures a shared interconnection height, enabling EZ-Mount switches to align directly with the BEP Pro Installer busbar range, facilitating compact and efficient installations. The product is UL1107 certified for flame resistance and CE marked, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Robust and versatile design
Constructed from fiber-reinforced plastics and fitted with stainless steel washers/nuts, this battery switch is built to withstand harsh marine environments. Its IP66 and IP67 ratings ensure resistance to powerful water jets and enhanced sealing. The removable knob provides an additional isolation function for maintenance and safety. The BEP 770-DP model stands out from conventional single-pole switches by its ability to fully disconnect the circuit, thereby protecting the entire electrical system.
