De bruges til at forbinde skærme, sensorer, el-styringsmoduler, instrumenter og gateways uden at ty til improviserede løsninger.
NMEA 2000 backbone- og afgreninger
Til opbygning eller forlængelse af en NMEA 2000-backbone dækker CZone-kablerne 2 m, 5 m eller 10 m de mest almindelige længder, mens NMEA 2000-startkit med micro-C-backbone giver et komplet udgangspunkt. Afgreningerne, som CZone-kablerne 0,5 m, 1 m, 2 m eller 3 m, forbinder hver enhed til backbone med minimal unødvendig kabling bag konsollen.
Stik, termineringsmodstande og netværksbroer
CZone T-stik findes i versioner med én vej, 2 veje eller 4 veje og muliggør en ren tilføjelse af nye enheder. Termineringsmodstande og beskyttelsesudstyr som RJ45 VE.Can-terminator eller grøn MasterBus-hætte forhindrer åbne busser og beskytter ubrugte forbindelser. Til CZone- eller MasterBus-arkitekturer hjælper MasterBus WiFi-forbindelse og NMEA 2000-netværksbro-modul med overvågning eller integration af el-styringsnetværk.
Ethernet, strøm og specialkabler
Navigationssystemers netværk kan også kræve Ethernet-forbindelser, antennekabler eller dedikerede strømforsyninger. Eksempler inkluderer 1,8 m Ethernet-kabel, Ethernet RJ45-adapter til Halo Dome-radar, Nemesis-forbindelseskabel, strømkabel til Hook2, Hook Reveal & Cruise eller Active Target-forlængerkabel 10ft (3m). Elektriske forbindelsesudstyr som 300 mm MC20-forbindelseskabel supplerer installationen, når netværket kommunikerer med bordets el-fordeling.
Sådan vælger du det rigtige netværksudstyr
Tjek inden bestilling hvilken protokol, stiktype, brugbar længde, kablets funktion i installationen samt nødvendige termineringsmodstande. En NMEA 2000-backbone kabler man ikke som en simpel forlængerledning: den skal forsynes korrekt, termineres i begge ender og organiseres for at minimere mekaniske belastninger. Til større installationer findes samlinger som Elektronisk kabling, Netværkskabling, Ethernet, I/O-moduler, Interfaces & gateways og El-udstyr til at komplettere arkitekturen omkring netværksudstyret.
