C-MAP is a marine charting brand from the Navico Group. This Skysat collection gathers charts from several generations and for different areas. The right choice depends on the route to cover, the exact chart reference, and the chartplotter model: a C-MAP chart is not compatible with all devices.
Which C-MAP range to choose?
- DISCOVER and REVEAL: vector charts for compatible chartplotters. REVEAL adds shaded relief and satellite imagery, depending on the data available for the area and the device’s capabilities. See, for example, DISCOVER Western Mediterranean and REVEAL West European coasts.
- DISCOVER X and REVEAL X: a distinct chart generation for chartplotters compatible with the X format. REVEAL X adds shaded relief and satellite imagery layers to DISCOVER X content, where available for the area. Compare DISCOVER X Western Europe and REVEAL X Western Europe.
- MAX and 4D: other families still available in our catalog, to be selected only after checking the chartplotter model and required support. See, for example, MAX European Atlantic coasts and 4D United Kingdom and Ireland.
Select the area and verify the chartplotter
- Define your route: identify your departures, stops, and destinations, then check the coverage of the chosen reference in the official C-MAP chart search. A broad title like "Western Europe" does not, by itself, guarantee that every stop is covered.
- Identify your device: note the brand, exact model, software version, and chart reader or support. Use the official C-MAP chartplotter search; do not assume that an X version replaces a DISCOVER, REVEAL, MAX, or 4D chart on the same device.
- Compare before ordering: cross-check the area, reference, support, and stated compatibility on the product page. If any of these points are missing or contradictory, request a verification with your chartplotter reference and route.
