Detailed description
Detailed description
Designed for marine electric propulsion, the ePropulsion E100 lithium LiFePO4 battery (EB-0100-00) offers a capacity of 5120 Wh / 100 Ah at a nominal voltage of 48 V. It is compatible with 48 V motors from 1 to 6 kW, including the Spirit, Navy and Pod Drive series. Two E100 batteries can be connected in series to form a 96 V system, suitable for ePropulsion X12, P12 motors and motors from 1 to 10 kW.
Design and technical performance
The E100 battery uses Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) chemistry and integrates an intelligent Battery Management System (BMS) for continuous monitoring and regulation. Its nominal voltage is 51.2 V, with a final charge voltage of 57.6 V and a cutoff voltage of 41.6 V. It supports a maximum continuous charge current of 100 A and a maximum continuous discharge current of 150 A. Grade A cells guarantee a lifespan of 3,000 cycles at 80 % State of Health (SoH).
Robustness and installation flexibility
Featuring an all-metal housing, the E100 battery is shock- and drop-resistant. Its design provides IP67 waterproofing, making it suitable for marine environments. Its dimensions of 630 x 320 x 240 mm (with padding and mounting bracket) or 580 x 320 x 240 mm (without padding) and its weight of 48.5 kg allow flexible integration, including under seats or in confined storage spaces. The battery can be connected in parallel up to 16 units to increase the overall capacity of 48 V systems.
Smart features and certifications
An integrated display shows real-time state of charge (SOC), voltage, current and alerts. It integrates with third-party bridges for advanced energy management. Fast charging is supported at a rate of 1C, allowing a full recharge in approximately 2.6 hours with two E-Series chargers on a 220 V system, or 4.3 hours on a 110 V system. A 96 V configuration allows fast charging in less than two hours. The E100 battery is CE, UKCA, FCC and UN38.3 certified and complies with ISO 23625:2025, EN IEC 61000-6-3:2021 and EN IEC 61000-6-1:2019 standards.
