Detailed description

The ePropulsion EE-0000-00 external battery controller allows selecting different operating modes during solar charging when an E series battery is paired with an MPPT solar charge controller.

It is a separate component from the EB-C002-00 MPPT charge controller. The 1.6 kW rating refers to this charge controller, not the external controller. The net weight listed for EE-0000-00 is 2.30 kg.

The official datasheets for the new-generation E60 and E163 batteries list this controller among their compatible products. The charge configuration and mode selection must be confirmed for the selected battery and charge controller.

This external controller does not replace either the battery or the MPPT solar charge controller. Its documented role is the selection of modes during solar charging. The manufacturer’s datasheet does not detail these modes: have the configuration validated before installation, without inferring a CAN protocol or a SOC tracking function from the charge controller’s specifications.
