Marine audio: reliable and integrable embedded sound systems

A boat audio system is not chosen like a car installation. Speakers, sources, amplifiers and cables must withstand moisture, salt, UV, vibrations and long cable runs.

Skysat groups here the Fusion, JL Audio and Clarion solutions suited for cockpits, flybridges, cabins and multi-zone installations. The goal is simple: clear sound while sailing, clean integration with the onboard network and an installation that remains reliable over time.

Skysat advice

Start by defining listening zones, then size speakers and amplification. On an open boat, sensitivity, RMS power and placement matter more than peak power. Planning tinned wiring, watertight pass-throughs and electrical protection before installing speakers avoids most rework.
