A next-generation Mach 40.6 for a young Le Havre talent

The Class 40 ZEISS (#208) was launched on December 17, 2024 in La Trinité-sur-Mer after 10 months of construction. This Mach 40.6 — scow design by Sam Manuard and built by JPS Production — represents the culmination of an ambitious project led by Timothé Polet, 25, from Le Havre, with co-skipper Pierrick Letouzé.

ZEISS France — main partner since 2023

The project benefits from the support of ZEISS France, world leader in optics and medical technology, main partner of the young skipper since 2023.

Early results and schedule

  • 40 Malouine 2025 (September): first podium for the Polet / Letouzé duo
  • Class 40 annual ranking 2025: 2nd place
  • Transat Café L'Or 2025 (Oct. 26 - Le Havre → Martinique): entered in double-handed
