Detailed description
Detailed description
The XSONIC AIRMAR B265LH through-hull depth sounder is a high-performance CHIRP solution designed for professional anglers and deep-sea sport fishing applications. With a power output of 1 kW and dual frequency bands, it provides detailed detection of fish and seabed down to significant depths.
Advanced CHIRP Capabilities
This depth sounder uses CHIRP technology to sweep a wide frequency range, from 42 kHz to 65 kHz in low frequency and 130 kHz to 210 kHz in high frequency. This approach delivers sound energy 10 to 1,000 times greater than conventional fishfinders, improving target detection and separation. The total coverage of 103 kHz offers versatility for various species, such as bluefin tuna (60 kHz), squid (133 kHz), and cod (175 kHz). The XSONIC AIRMAR B265LH measures depth up to 914 meters (3,000 feet) in low frequency and 304 meters (1,000 feet) in high frequency, while also providing water temperature data.
Robust Design and Installation
Constructed with a bronze housing and urethane acoustic window, the XSONIC AIRMAR B265LH depth sounder is compatible with fiberglass or wooden hulls. It comes with a high-performance fairing block that optimizes performance at speeds above 30 knots (34 mph), ensuring a clear seabed image. This fairing block also allows the depth sounder to adapt to hull angles up to 20° deadrise. The depth sounder features eight broadband ceramic arrays and Airmar’s patented Xducer ID® technology for automatic configuration and temperature tracking. It is recommended for boats 8 meters (25 feet) and larger.
