The B&G Triton² Autopilot Controller & Display pack is an integrated solution for navigation and autopilot control, designed for sailboats. It combines a 4.1-inch color multifunction display with a dedicated autopilot controller, providing an intuitive interface for managing navigation data and steering commands. This unit is NMEA 2000 certified, simplifying integration into existing marine electronic systems.
Triton² Instrument Display
The Triton² display features a 4.1-inch color screen with TFT-LCD transflective technology and white LED backlighting, ensuring visibility in all lighting conditions, including full sunlight and night. With a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels and "optically bonded" technology, it eliminates condensation and fogging. It displays essential data such as speed, depth, wind, heading, AIS targets, and GPS information. The display includes specific sailing functions like SailSteer and WindPlot screens. Its 8 mm low-profile design and NMEA 2000 connection simplify front installation. It is water-resistant to IPx7 standards and operates between -25° C and +65° C (-13° F and +149° F). Power consumption ranges from 1.0 W (min) to 1.9 W (max).
Triton² Autopilot Controller
The Triton² autopilot controller complements the display to form a complete autopilot system. It features a seven-button keypad, including dedicated "auto" and "standby" keys for quick engagement or disengagement of the autopilot. Port and starboard buttons allow heading adjustments in one- or ten-degree increments. This controller leverages B&G’s sailing-specific functions for precise course holding or navigation by true or apparent wind angle. It also offers intelligent maneuvering commands for tacking and jibing. NMEA 2000 connectivity provides power and data transfer, and its water resistance meets IPx7 standards. It operates between -15° C and +55° C (5° F and +131° F) and consumes 1.4 W. The housing is made of ABS molding.
