The B&G Zeus³S 1x16" System Base Kit is a navigation solution designed for offshore cruisers and racers. It integrates a 16-inch SolarMAX™ HD IPS touchscreen optimized for visibility in bright sunlight and with polarized sunglasses, offering Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution and 1200-nit brightness. The iMX8 processor, with dual quad-cores, delivers twice the responsiveness and smoothness of the previous generation.

Accuracy and Integration

This system features an internal 10Hz 34-channel GPS antenna, compatible with WAAS, EGNOS, MSAS, and GLONASS, for 3-meter horizontal positioning accuracy. It includes 16 GB of internal storage and two MicroSD card slots (up to 32 GB each). The B&G Zeus³S 1x16" System Base Kit supports preloaded C-MAP US Enhanced cartography and is compatible with C-MAP (MAX N, MAX N+), Navionics (Gold, NAV+ Platinum+), and NV Digital (Raster US Charts) charts.

Connectivity and Advanced Features

Connectivity includes a 10/100 Mbit Ethernet port, an NMEA 2000® Micro-C port, and integrated Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11b/g/n) for software updates and screen mirroring. Two composite video inputs (RCA connectors) and a USB port (for the 16-inch model) are also provided. The system includes two 9-pin Xsonic transducer ports, compatible with CHIRP (50/200 kHz), HDI, TotalScan, LSS HD, and ForwardScan technologies, with 1kW RMS output power and a maximum tested depth of 3000'+ (with B175L).

The B&G Zeus³S 1x16" System Base Kit offers a user interface combining an all-weather touchscreen with a rotary selector and keyboard. It includes sailing-specific functions such as SailSteer, Laylines, RacePanel, SailingTime, PredictWind integration, and Advanced Windplot. The system can manage two independent displays and show up to six information panels simultaneously. It integrates with B&G autopilot systems, Halo radars, AIS, marine audio systems (SonicHub®2, JL Audio, Fusion), and Simrad Command DDS Digital Switching. Its modular "black box" design allows for customized multi-screen systems. The unit operates on 10 to 31.2 V DC power, has IPX6 and IPX7 water resistance, and operates between -15°C and +55°C (5°F to 131°F).
