The FURUNO 50/200-1T depth sounder is a 1 kW dual-frequency transducer designed for seabed detection and fish locating. It features two distinct frequencies to adapt to various fishing conditions and depths. This model is intended for "in-hull" installations (tank or box mounting) thanks to its rubber coating.

Acoustic performance

This depth sounder operates at frequencies of 50 kHz and 200 kHz. The 50 kHz frequency provides a wide 28-degree beam, suitable for exploring deep waters and detecting large fish schools. For shallower waters and finer resolution, the 200 kHz frequency uses a narrower 8.5-degree beam. The nominal output power of the depth sounder is 1 kW.

Design and installation

Designed with a rubber coating, the FURUNO 50/200-1T depth sounder measures 160x90 mm and has an oblong shape. It comes with a 10-meter cable. It is important to note that the depth sounder does not include a temperature or speed sensor, and no connector is provided, allowing for customized installation.
