The FURUNO I6P satellite TV antenna is a marine television reception solution designed for vessels requiring stable signal reception at sea. With a 60 cm reflector diameter and a 70 cm radome diameter (72 cm height), it weighs 22 kg. This system provides Ku-band reception (10.7 ~ 12.75 GHz) and includes an HD module for high-definition television. Equipped with 4 video outputs (Quad LNB), it is compatible with major global satellite TV service providers.
Advanced Tracking Technology
The FURUNO I6P features a dual-axis automatic tracking system with a 45° per second rotation speed, allowing signal maintenance even at high speeds or in rough seas. Its elevation range is +5° to 90°, optimized for high latitudes. The iQ² (Quick & Quiet) technology combines the Wide Range Search (WRS) algorithm for rapid satellite acquisition and Dynamic Beam Tilting (DBT) for consistent signal quality by adjusting a high-speed sub-reflector.
Integration and Robustness
Designed for marine use, the FURUNO I6P features IPX6 protection and operates in temperatures from -15°C to 55°C. It includes automatic skew control (ASC) for improved performance in regions with linear transmissions. The antenna control unit (ACU) provides intuitive commands and supports updates and diagnostics via Aptus PC and Aptus Mobile applications. An integrated GPS enables rapid signal acquisition, complemented by an NMEA 0183 port for connection to the vessel’s GPS. Installation is simplified with a single-cable connection between the antenna and the ACU.
