The FURUNO MCU-006 vertical remote control is designed to provide extended physical control for NavNet TZtouch3 and NavNet TZtouchXL multifunction displays. It is not compatible with the TZT2BB Black Box.

Touch and Physical Control

This control unit features a rotary knob (RotoKey™) and a joystick, enabling navigation and menu selection on one or more connected displays. The RotoKey™ simplifies zooming, gain adjustment, and menu scrolling. The MCU-006 also includes 10 dedicated buttons, including an MOB (Man Overboard) key for quick access to essential functions. A buzzer is located on the front panel of the device.

Design and Installation

With dimensions of 59(w) x 150(h) mm, the FURUNO MCU-006 is designed for vertical flush-mount installation. Its NMEA2000 interface ensures direct integration into the onboard network. The front panel is rated IP55, while the rear is IP22, providing environmental resistance suitable for the intended marine location.
