Designed for demanding marine environments, the FURUNO MU192HD 19-inch color LCD monitor delivers high-resolution display and high contrast for optimal visibility in various lighting conditions. It is suitable for use as a multifunction display with a wide range of marine equipment and peripherals.
Display and Visual Performance
The FURUNO MU192HD features a 19-inch TFT LCD panel with SXGA resolution (1280 x 1024 pixels). It provides a brightness of 1000 cd/m² and a contrast ratio of 900:1, ensuring clear readability of information. Its 160° viewing angle (80° or more up/down, left/right) allows good visibility from different positions. Laminated LCD panels ensure high resolution, high contrast, and fog-free operation even in bright sunlight. An anti-reflective (AR) filter is built in to reduce glare and improve readability.
Connectivity and System Integration
The FURUNO MU192HD monitor offers a wide range of interface options, including 1 DVI-D port, 1 HDMI port, 1 VGA (analog RGB) port, 1 NTSC/PAL composite video input, and 1 USB port. This versatility allows it to display images from security cameras, DVD players, computers, and other peripherals. It is designed to work with Furuno Black Box commercial systems (radars, fishfinders, sonars) as well as compatible systems from other manufacturers.
Robust Design and Installation
Powered by 12–24 V DC (10.8–31.2 V) with a consumption of 4.9 to 2.3 A, the FURUNO MU192HD is built for the marine environment. Its front panel is rated IP56 for water and dust resistance, while the rear chassis is rated IP22. It operates in an ambient temperature range of -15°C to +55°C. Mounting options include flush-mount (weight 12.6 kg) or bracket mount (weight 18.9 kg). Its ultra-thin, bezel-less design facilitates integration, and it is designed to replace older models such as the MU150HD/MU190HD using the same cutout.
