TZT2BB — Black Box processor, card reader, REZBOOST fishfinder (600W/1kW power) and integrated Wi-Fi

The FURUNO TZT2BB is a Black Box processor designed for the NavNet TZtouch2 series, offering versatile operational and installation options for full system integration and advanced navigation capabilities. It integrates a card reader, a 600W/1kW REZBOOST fishfinder, and internal Wi-Fi connectivity.

Processing and Display Capabilities

This system is equipped with two independent processors within a single unit. This architecture supports independent resolutions on two monitors, with an HDMI Full HD video output. The TZT2BB can handle various aspect ratios (4:3 and 4:3, 16:9 and 4:3, or 16:9 and 16:9) and resolutions up to 1920 x 1080 (FHD), 1024 x 768 (XGA), or 1280 x 1024 (SXGA) via its two type-A HDMI ports. It also features one HDMI input port and two composite video input ports (RCA, NTSC/PAL).

Integrated Fishfinder with RezBoost™ Technology

The TZT2BB integrates a dual-frequency 600W/1kW fishfinder operating at 50/200 kHz. It benefits from Furuno’s proprietary RezBoost™ technology, which improves target resolution and separation without requiring a new transducer. Features such as Accu-Fish™ for fish size analysis and Bottom Discrimination to categorize seabed composition (rocks, gravel, sand, mud) are also included.

Connectivity and Network Integration

Connectivity is provided by integrated Wi-Fi (IEEE802.11b/g/n), three 100Base-TX Ethernet ports (HUB), one NMEA2000 port, one NMEA0183 output port, and five USB ports (four Type-A, one Micro-B) with multi-touch support. Two SDXC slots are available for cards. The system ships with preloaded NOAA Raster and Vector charts for the U.S. coasts, Gulf of Mexico, Alaska, and Hawaii, and supports MapMedia Raster and Vector charts. It integrates with an extensive range of Furuno network products, including UHD radars, NavPilot autopilots, FI70 instruments, AIS, Weather Fax, Sirius/XM Satellite Weather, Fusion Marine Stereo, and IP cameras.
