Designed for the marine environment, the Fusion AP-FL77SPG flush-mount speakers from the Apollo series are 7.7-inch coaxial speakers with gray Sport edition grilles, featuring CRGBW LED lighting. These speakers are specifically engineered to deliver high-fidelity audio reproduction even in demanding marine conditions.
Audio performance and design
The AP-FL77SPG speakers deliver a peak power of 400 W and an RMS power of 100 W. Their sensitivity is 91 dB (1 watt @ 1 meter) and their frequency response ranges from 60 Hz to 22 kHz. The nominal impedance is 4 ohms. For optimal performance, Fusion recommends an amplifier power output of 30 to 200 W per RMS channel. The transducer uses a 1.4-inch voice coil and a CURV® cone with rubber surround, paired with a 1-inch silk dome tweeter. The motor design has been optimized to reduce distortion and improve sound clarity at high volumes.
LED lighting and customization
These speakers feature CRGBW (cold white, red, green, blue, warm white) LED rings for color customization to match the onboard ambiance. The distinctive hexagonal tweeters enhance the visual aesthetics. The grilles are interchangeable and supplied in gray Sport edition finish, with additional options (white or shielded) available separately for easy no-screw customization.
Marine durability and installation
The Fusion AP-FL77SPG speakers are built to withstand harsh marine environments, with IP66/IP67 ratings for dust and water protection, and compliance with ISO12216 standards for pressure and sealing. They are resistant to dust, salt spray, temperature variations, vibrations, and UV rays. The connectors are marine-grade, waterproof "plug-and-play" type, compliant with ABYC standards to simplify installation and enhance protection. Physical dimensions are 196 x 113.2 mm (diameter x depth), with a mounting diameter of 156 mm and a mounting depth of 86 mm. The safe distance from the compass is 300 cm.
