Detailed description
Detailed description
The Garmin Airmar B619 bronze through-hull transducer is designed for depth and temperature sensing, delivering 500W power with 77/200 kHz frequencies. It features a 20° tilted ceramic element, specifically suited for hulls with a deadrise angle between 16° and 24°. Its low-profile design minimizes drag, protruding only 5 mm (0.2 in) outside the hull.
Accuracy and Compatibility
With a maximum depth of 274 meters (900 feet), the B619 provides reliable data for navigation and fishing. The 45° beam at 77 kHz and 15° beam at 200 kHz ensures coverage suited to various conditions. The 8-pin connector allows direct integration with compatible Garmin systems. Its bronze construction makes it ideal for fiberglass and wooden hulls, while excluding installation on metal hulls to prevent galvanic corrosion.
Tilted Element™ Technology
The Tilted Element™ technology compensates for the vessel’s deadrise angle, enabling the sonar beam to be oriented vertically for more accurate depth readings and stronger echo returns. This feature, combined with maintained performance at high speeds, positions the B619 as a solution for demanding boaters. The 9.1-meter (30-foot) cable and right-angle cable exit facilitate installation in tight spaces, and the unit complies with ABYC H-27 standards.
