Detailed description

The GT15M-THF family includes CHIRP medium-frequency through-hull transducers with a tilted element. The 0°, 12°, and 20° variants are used to compensate for hull deadrise.

Angle selection is critical: it determines beam verticality and thus detection quality beneath the boat.

Skysat advice: Measure the deadrise angle at the exact installation location. Do not select the angle based on a theoretical yard value if the actual installation site is offset.
