Design and Technical Specifications

The Glomex RA111AIS antenna features a compact size of 140 mm and a weight of 220 g, allowing discreet installation even in confined spaces. Its construction includes an antenna element encapsulated in a conical rubber tube, providing flexibility and resistance to shocks and marine conditions. The impedance is 50 ohms and the VSWR (Voltage Standing Wave Ratio) is less than or equal to 1.2 at 162 MHz, with a maximum input power of 50 W.

Installation and Connectivity

The Glomex RA111AIS comes with a 9-meter coaxial cable, facilitating connection to AIS equipment. A polished stainless steel mounting bracket is included, designed for vertical or horizontal installation on rails and balconies with diameters from 22 mm to 30 mm. The package also includes a BNC connector for AIS receivers/transponders, a PL259 connector for the antenna, and a rubber protector for the latter, simplifying the installation process.
