The Glomex RA134 balcony ball joint is designed for versatile mounting of marine antennas, allowing vertical or horizontal installation on boat balconies. This mount features a double articulation with a locking knob mechanism, enabling precise adjustment of the antenna orientation to optimize reception.
Materials and compatibility
Made from UV-resistant reinforced nylon, the RA134 ball joint is built to withstand marine environments. It is compatible with balconies or rails with a diameter of 22 to 25 mm (0.87 to 0.98 inches). The standard 1" x 14 (UNS) threading ensures compatibility with most VHF antennas, FM radios, Glomex GPS antennas, and other antennas featuring this standard threading. It supports a maximum self-supporting antenna length of 2.40 m (8 feet).
Installation and features
With a height of 5 cm (1.97 inches), this ball joint includes a dedicated slot for routing antenna cables, including GPS cables, simplifying onboard integration and cable management. Its double articulation and locking system allow flexible antenna positioning to adapt to various deck configurations and signaling requirements.
