For systems rated at 800W or higher, the use of two RA207 plates is recommended.

Technology and performance

The RA207 is made from gold-plated sintered bronze, a material composed of millions of microspheres. This unique structure increases the contact surface with water up to 10 times its physical size, ensuring optimal thermal dissipation and electrical grounding. This design contributes to approximately 15% higher efficiency compared to standard ground plates.

Installation and durability

Installation of the Glomex RA207 ground plate is done securely to the vessel’s hull using bronze bolts and nuts, along with rubber spacers. The bronze materials ensure corrosion resistance in the marine environment. In addition to its role for SSB systems, this plate provides effective grounding for onboard electronic equipment.

The RA207 represents the solution for applications requiring the largest grounding surface area, such as high-power SSB systems.
