Designed for underwater image clarity, the Lowrance Active Imaging HD transom-mount (Dual) PORT sonar integrates advanced sonar technologies Active Imaging 3-IN-1, including CHIRP, SideScan Imaging™, and DownScan Imaging™. This setup ensures high-definition visualization of structures and fish, essential for navigation and fishing.
Sonar Capabilities and Performance
The Active Imaging HD sonar offers frequencies of 455 kHz and 800 kHz for SideScan and DownScan, with high-definition imaging up to 1.2 MHz. It also supports high/broadband CHIRP (200 kHz) and mid-frequency CHIRP (83 kHz). In DownScan mode, maximum depth reaches 91 meters (300 feet). For SideScan, lateral range is 91 meters (300 feet) at 455 kHz and 46 meters (150 feet) at 800 kHz. Optimal operating speed for DownScan and SideScan is 9 knots (10 mph).
Advanced Fishing Features
Equipped with the exclusive FishReveal™ function, this sonar overlays CHIRP sonar fish arches on high-resolution DownScan Imaging™ views, making target identification easier. A new FishReveal SideScan view is also available, requiring the S3100 sonar module. The optimized transducer design improves signal clarity and target separation, allowing precise distinction between fish and underwater structures such as rocks, seagrass beds, or ditches.
Installation and Compatibility
This transom-mount model is designed for installation on the port side, ideal for dual-sonar systems. It is compatible with Lowrance HDS® PRO and Simrad® NSS 4 displays. For extended compatibility with Lowrance HDS® LIVE, Elite FS™ models, and Simrad® NSSevo3s, NSOevo3s, and NSX displays, an S3100 module is required. The sonar comes with a 7.6-meter (25-foot) or 1.8-meter (6-foot) cable and features a 9-pin connector. It operates within a temperature range of -15 °C to +55 °C and can be stored from -30 °C to +70 °C. A mounting kit is included for installation.
