Detailed description
Detailed description
Designed for recreational fishing, the Lowrance BULLET Skimmer XDCR EAGLE transducer provides a simple and effective fishfinder solution. This transom-mounted transducer is also compatible with electric trolling motor or through-hull installations, optimized for Lowrance Eagle 4x units. It delivers depth and water temperature readings essential for fish location.
Technical Specifications and Performance
The BULLET Skimmer transducer operates at a frequency of 200 kHz, with a 44° beam width at -3 dB. It can reach a maximum depth of 152 m (500 ft) at this frequency and supports speeds up to 57 knots (55 mph) in transom mount configuration. Its wide-beam design provides extended water column coverage, doubling the sonar coverage of many standalone fishfinders for easier data interpretation. The system features autotuning sonar that automatically adjusts parameters for optimal performance.
Installation and Environment
Weighing 0.24 kg with a 6 m cable length, this transducer is equipped with a 6-pin connector combining power and sonar signal, simplifying installation. It is designed to withstand marine conditions, with an operating temperature range from -15°C to +55°C and a storage temperature range from -30°C to +70°C. Mounting options include transom, electric trolling motor, and through-hull, requiring the application of high-quality marine sealant on pilot holes.
