Detailed description
Detailed description
Designed for anglers, the Lowrance Eagle Eye 9 Live ROW is a fishfinder/chartplotter with a 9-inch IPS display. The unit integrates real-time sonar technology, providing direct visualization of fish movements and their reactions to lures. The screen delivers a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels with 1000 NITS brightness, ensuring optimal readability from all angles (85° up/down/left/right) and in full sunlight, even with polarized sunglasses, thanks to its pure white LED backlight.
Real-time sonar and advanced mapping
The Lowrance Eagle Eye 9 Live ROW comes with a dedicated Live Sensor transducer that combines four sonar display modes: Live Forward, Live Down, CHIRP Sonar, and DownScan Imaging with FishReveal. This setup delivers detailed images of underwater structures and fish without requiring additional modules. The real-time sonar resolution matches that of ActiveTarget® 2 for its down and forward-focused views. The system also features auto-tuning sonar for optimized settings.
For mapping, the unit is preloaded with a worldwide base map and C-MAP® inland maps for the United States and Canada. It supports the creation of custom bathymetric maps with half-foot contours in real time via Genesis Live. The system supports C-MAP DISCOVER charts and uses SBAS GPS correction. It can manage up to 3000 waypoints, 100 routes, and 100 tracks. A microSD slot (up to 32 GB) is available for software updates, Genesis Live recordings, and additional chart supplements.
Design and connectivity
Powered by 12 V DC (range 10.8 to 18 V DC), the Lowrance Eagle Eye 9 Live ROW has a maximum power consumption of 10.08 W (840 mA at 12 V DC) and is protected by a recommended 3 A fuse. It is designed for marine environments with an IPX7 waterproof rating (with the card reader cover closed). Operating temperature range is -15 °C to 55 °C. The unit weighs 0.9 kg (screen only) and measures 287.2 mm (W) x 162.5 mm (H) x 90 mm (D). It can be mounted on a bracket or flush-mounted in the dashboard and features twist-lock connectors for quick installation. Controls are via a keypad with directional buttons, zoom +/–, Exit, Enter, Menu, Waypoint, and Power/backlight.
