The Lowrance Elite FS 12 GPS fishfinder combo is designed for anglers seeking advanced fish detection and navigation capabilities. Featuring a 12" multi-touch LCD screen with 1280x800 resolution and over 1200 nits brightness, it offers 85° viewing angles top/bottom and left/right for clear visibility in varying lighting conditions.
Sonar and Detection Technologies
This system integrates the Active Imaging 3-in-1 sonar, providing CHIRP (medium/high), DownScan Imaging, and StructureScan technologies for detailed underwater imaging. It is also ready to accept the ActiveTarget 2 Live Sonar and Active Imaging HD (requires S3100 module) for real-time fish movement visualization. Lowrance’s exclusive FishReveal combines CHIRP sonar and DownScan Imaging on a single screen for improved target identification.
Advanced Navigation and Cartography
The Lowrance Elite FS 12 comes preloaded with C-MAP Discover Onboard charts, including 1-foot contours for many lakes in the United States and Canada. It supports C-MAP, Navionics, and C-MAP Genesis Live charts for real-time custom map creation. C-MAP Easy Routing and Navionics Autorouting simplify route planning. The unit features a high-sensitivity multi-satellite GPS receiver (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo).
Connectivity and System Integration
With integrated wireless connectivity, NMEA 2000, and Ethernet, the Lowrance Elite FS 12 integrates easily with other marine equipment. It allows full touchscreen control of compatible electric motors (Recon and Ghost) and Power Pole anchors. The unit operates on 12 V DC (10.8–17 V DC min–max), with a maximum power draw of 34.5 W (2.5 A at 13.8 V DC) and requires a 3 A fuse. Its IPx6 and IPx7 waterproof rating ensures resistance to marine environments. The display alone weighs 2.3 kg. A MicroSD slot supports memory expansion up to 32 GB. It also supports the Power-Pole charge module and Yak Power digital switching.
