The Marinco 100A 125/250V male connector (reference M4100P12) is designed for high-current shore power applications on large vessels. This marine-grade, watertight connector, featuring a male pin-and-socket design, is rated for 100 amperes and 125/250 volts, with a single-phase, 3-pole, 4-wire configuration.
Robust, watertight design
Constructed with a yellow nylon/ABS blend housing and a nylon contact carrier, the Marinco M4100P12 connector ensures durability suited to marine environments. It provides IP67 waterproofing per IEC 60529, ensuring protection against temporary immersion. The stud terminals feature double nickel-plated brass screws, and the contacts are solid nickel-plated brass, accommodating 1/0 – 3 AWG cables. The supported outer cable diameter ranges from 0.98" to 1.97".
Safety and compliance
This connector is certified by Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. (cULus) for the United States and Canada (file E106703) and complies with ABYC and US Coast Guard standards. It is designed to mate with the Marinco M4100R12 receptacle and includes a 12 o’clock IEC 60309-2 ground pin. The overall design features an internal cable gland for effective strain relief and Perma-Lock™ type terminals for secure wire retention. A transparent terminal cover facilitates connection inspection.
