Detailed description
Detailed description
The Mastervolt AC Master 24/1000 (230/50-60 Hz) AU/NZ inverter converts 24 V DC to a pure sine wave AC output of 230 V, with selectable frequencies of 50 or 60 Hz. Designed for recreational and semi-professional applications, it provides stable power for sensitive electronic equipment.
Performance and Reliability
This inverter delivers a continuous power output of 1000 W at 40°C with a power factor of 1, and handles peak loads up to 2000 W for 3 seconds. Its efficiency reaches 94 %, optimizing energy conversion. Featuring galvanic isolation, it uses high-frequency switching technology for silent operation. No-load power consumption is < 0.8 A in ON mode and < 0.05 A in energy-saving mode, extending battery autonomy.
Safety and Installation
The Mastervolt AC Master 24/1000 includes protections against overheating, overloads, short circuits, high/low battery voltage, and reverse polarity (via fuse). It offers a nominal input voltage range of 24 V, with shutdown at 21 V and restart at 25 V for low voltage, and shutdown at 33 V with restart at 29 V for high voltage. The variable-speed fan ensures efficient cooling. For safe installation, the inverter must be connected to the central ground point of the vehicle or boat. It has IP21 protection for horizontal wall mounting and is certified CE, E-mark, and RCM. Dimensions are 200 x 372 x 83 mm with a weight of 3.3 kg, and an ambient temperature range of -20°C to 60°C (with derating above 40°C).
Connectivity and Configuration
The device features LED indicators for battery voltage and charge level. A remote control terminal is available as an option for connecting a panel or switch, offering alarm contact and remote switch functions. Output voltage, frequency, and energy-saving mode settings are configurable via DIP switches. The minimum recommended DC cable cross-section is 16 mm² for the 24 V model, and 0.75 mm² for AC cables.
