Detailed description
Detailed description
Designed for Navico autopilot systems, the metal Auto-Stby button (part number 000-13703-001) allows switching between automatic and standby modes. This component is compatible with Navico autopilot computers NAC-1, NAC-2, and NAC-3, including Simrad, Lowrance, and B&G.
Control and integration
This button provides physical and direct control of the autopilot, an essential function for navigation. It connects via two wires (red for positive, black for negative/ground) to the designated AUTO-STBY input on your Lowrance device. Its metal construction ensures durability suited to the marine environment, offering a reliable solution for routine operations. The Auto-Stby button can be particularly useful for initial commissioning of certain autopilot systems, especially when a full controller is not installed aboard.
Extended compatibility
While often associated with NAC-1 autopilot kits for GO units, this button is also compatible with systems based on NAC-2 and NAC-3 computers. It provides a dedicated interface for managing the autopilot's primary functions, facilitating user interaction with the navigation system.
