Designed for depth detection and temperature measurement, the NAVICO 9-Pin 83/200kHz Pod-Style Shoot-Through Depth Sounder w/Temp is a versatile transducer. This model offers 83 kHz and 200 kHz frequencies, with a 9-pin connector for extended compatibility with Navico depth sounder units.
Sonar Performance
The NAVICO 9-Pin 83/200kHz transducer operates on Medium/High CHIRP frequencies (83/200 kHz). It enables depth detection up to 304 metres (1,000 feet) at 200 kHz. The beam width is 38° at 83 kHz and 17° at 200 kHz (at -3dB), ensuring coverage suited to various fishing conditions. The maximum supported speed is 60 knots (70 mph).
Mounting Options and Temperature Sensor
This pod-style transducer includes a temperature sensor, providing accurate water temperature readings. It is designed for through-hull (shoot-through-hull) or trolling motor installation. For through-hull installation, note that the transducer cannot operate through wooden hulls. The recommended location is near the boat’s centerline, and on V-hulls, at a maximum deadrise angle of 10°. Avoid mounting near flaps.
