Detailed description
Detailed description
The Navico XSONIC 50/200 HDI (20°) through-hull transducer is a bronze unit designed for navigation and fishing, integrating traditional sonar and DownScan Imaging™. It is optimized for boats with a deadrise angle of 20° to 24° thanks to its 20-degree tilted element.
Advanced Sonar Capabilities
This HDI transducer offers dual-frequency capability. For traditional sonar, it operates at 50/200 kHz with beam widths of 45° at 50 kHz and 11° at 200 kHz. DownScan Imaging™ uses frequencies of 455/800 kHz, providing detailed imaging with beam widths of 2.8° (fore-aft) by 56° (port-starboard) at 455 kHz and 1.6° by 32° at 800 kHz. Maximum depth reaches 350 meters (1200 feet) in traditional sonar and 350 feet in DownScan Imaging™.
Robust Design and Integration
The XSONIC 50/200 HDI transducer features a bronze through-hull housing, suitable for fiberglass or wooden hulls. It includes a 10-meter (33-foot) cable with a black 9-pin connector. A fast-response water temperature sensor is integrated. Its low-profile design ensures good resolution at high speeds when properly installed flush with the hull. This transducer is compatible with Simrad and Lowrance sounders with 9-pin HDI inputs supporting CHIRP and DownScan.
