Detailed description
Detailed description
Designed to enhance marine environment perception, the Raymarine AR200 is a camera stabilization module dedicated to augmented reality. It ensures stable overlay of navigation data on the video feed of a compatible camera, even in motion. This module is essential for smooth and accurate use of augmented reality features on Raymarine multifunction displays.
Integration and Design
The AR200 module features a SeaTalk Plug connector for easy connection to the onboard network. Its design allows two installation options: flush mounting or bracket mounting. Flush mounting requires a depth of 20.3 mm and has dimensions of 128 mm wide by 140.4 mm long, with a height of 34.7 mm. For bracket mounting, the total height is 49.7 mm, maintaining the same width and length dimensions.
Augmented Reality Functionality
By stabilizing the camera image, the Raymarine AR200 enables real objects to be displayed with virtual overlays such as buoys, AIS targets, waypoints, or route information directly on the screen. This capability provides visual navigation assistance, particularly useful in congested areas or during delicate maneuvers.
