Detailed description
Detailed description
The Raymarine T70453 augmented reality pack is designed to enhance the navigation experience by overlaying critical information directly onto the live video feed. This system integrates a CAM220IP digital IP camera and an AR200 augmented reality sensor, providing improved perception of the maritime environment.
CAM220IP Digital IP Camera: Marine Digital Vision
The CAM220IP digital IP camera is the central component of this pack. It delivers a live video stream that serves as the base for augmented reality data overlay. The camera can be powered via Power over Ethernet (PoE) for simplified installation or by an independent power source. Its interface is accessible via a web browser, allowing configuration settings such as image inversion and flipping. It is compatible with Raymarine multifunction displays (MFDs) running Lighthouse software, enabling seamless integration into existing navigation systems.
AR200 Augmented Reality Sensor: Precision Data
The AR200 augmented reality sensor is the component that enables the overlay of navigation data onto the CAM220IP video feed. It connects via the SeaTalkng network and provides the data required for augmented reality calibration. This module supports functions such as augmented reality flag display (selected flags, destination flag) and ClearCruise parameter configuration, including range limits. Precise calibration of the AR200 sensor is essential, including linearization, magnetic deviation correction, and roll correction, to ensure the accuracy of the displayed information.
System Integration and Functionality
By combining the CAM220IP camera and the AR200 sensor, the Raymarine T70453 pack allows users to view AIS targets, waypoints, and other chart objects overlaid on the real-time video image. This feature enhances situational awareness, particularly in complex or high-traffic navigation zones. The pack also includes a 1-meter SeaTalkng backbone, a T-connector, and a 10-meter Raynet cable, ensuring the necessary network connections between components and the onboard system.
