Designed for mounting marine electronics, the Scanstrut 5" (127 mm) straight modular mount is a versatile mounting solution. With its 8" round base, it provides a stable platform for elevating radars, satcom antennas, cameras, or spotlights. This mount enables clean and secure integration aboard.
Robust and Modular Design
This mount is constructed from marine-grade materials, such as marine-grade aluminum, often with a bright white polyester powder coating. Its modular design allows for the addition of optional accessories, such as a light bar (LTB possible), and requires a specific adapter plate (ADA) for the equipment to be mounted, such as the Furuno Standard 30 range.
Integration and Performance
The Scanstrut SW-AM5-M1 straight modular mount is compatible with a wide range of radars from manufacturers like Garmin, Lowrance, Raymarine, Simrad, and Furuno. It features an internal cable management system for routing cables internally, ensuring a watertight installation without cutting connectors. Elevating the equipment optimizes its horizon visibility, improving performance in all conditions. Pre-drilled mounting holes facilitate direct installation, and watertight base gaskets eliminate the need for marine sealant.
