Designed for demanding marine environments, the Scanstrut POD for 1 instrument Type FI70 is a watertight mounting solution for individual marine instruments. Specifically adapted for 4.1-inch Furuno FI-70 multifunction displays, this white pod is made of ABS capped with acrylic, ensuring UV stability and durability in marine conditions.
Protection and Integration
The design of the Scanstrut POD for 1 instrument Type FI70 incorporates a high tear-resistant silicone gasket, providing protection against water and UV for the instrument. This pod comes with two fittings, allowing secure installation on a wheelhouse. It is compatible with rails from 25 mm to 33.7 mm in diameter, fitting various helm configurations.
Simplified Installation and Maintenance
Installation is made easier with fittings designed to be mounted from the rear, creating threads in injection-molded ABS inserts. This system allows quick and secure mounting, as well as easy maintenance. Internal cable routing through the clamp ensures a clean finish and protects connections. The viewing angle can be adjusted during installation for optimal ergonomics of the instrument.
