It offers a maximum usable surface of 430x311mm, allowing users to precisely adapt openings to the dimensions of their screens and specific instruments. Made from UV-resistant ABS plastic, this POD ensures durable protection in marine environments. It is compatible with installation on a mast foot or on a flat surface, offering mounting flexibility.

Protection and Secure Integration

The Scanstrut POD SW-SP4S features an innovative silicone sealing system, resistant to heat and UV, ensuring complete protection of instruments against water infiltration. The stainless steel fastenings are designed for secure and anti-theft mounting. For mast foot installations, a saddle system supports the stainless steel tubes, ensuring increased rigidity. For deck installations, an internal reinforcement plate is included to enhance rigidity and prevent damage from shocks and vibrations.

Simplified Installation and Durability

Installation and maintenance of the Scanstrut POD SW-SP4S are simplified thanks to a fastening system designed to fit from the rear to the front, creating threads in the ABS inserts molded by injection. This design simplifies the installation process and allows repeated maintenance operations without requiring drilling of the stainless steel rail. Scanstrut products undergo rigorous testing, including extreme temperature tests (-15°C to +50°C), waterproofing tests (300 liters per minute under jet), and impact resistance tests, attesting to their durability in marine conditions.
