The mount is made from a single-piece GRP composite molding, ensuring high resistance to corrosion and durability. Its design reduces the satcom antenna footprint by up to 60%.
Integration and Compatibility
The SW-SM-15-A mount is specifically sized for the Intellian i3, a compact marine satellite TV antenna. The i3 antenna features a 37 cm reflector and a 43 cm diameter radome with a height of 44 cm, weighing less than 9 kg. It operates on a 9 to 30 V DC power supply and includes a GPS for rapid signal acquisition. Wi-Fi connectivity via the ACU controller facilitates diagnostics and updates. The Intellian i3 uses iQ² technologies, including Wide Range Search (WRS) and Dynamic Beam Tilting (DBT), for superior signal quality.
Design and Installation
The design of the Scanstrut SW-SM-15-A ensures neat and secure installation. Its fasteners are concealed for a clean aesthetic. Mounting holes are pre-drilled for quick installation, and factory-mounted sealing glands with compression fittings ensure a watertight setup. The mount is also compatible with the SW-ADA-S1 modular plate and the SW-AMA-16 reducer for Intellian i3/i3L TV antennas.
